It's not just the layer of choc outside, there's also choc chips inside.

However it doesn't taste very much like Madeleines anymore more like choc cake. Decent but not impressive

The lingonberry cream was pretty decent, berry taste was not v strong. It's piped on top of lingonberry jam and the bottom layer is a custard that's hardly sweet and there's some flavour to it, might be funk

The bread is dense so overall it's not really my thing but is decent.

I wouldn't recommend it particularly, it's only slightly novel

Can't rlly rmb

The scone was dry but at least the cream helped a little, so I guess relative to most Singapore scones this one is slightly more alright

Very interesting and quite enjoyable. The sponge is actl 1/4 of the way to a biscuit already in terms of the dryness and the slightly tough texture, but that's not a bad thing because with the layered cream the bite is really nice. Quite hefty, the sweetness was appropriate and the honey depth comes thru. The cream also has some saltiness to balance everything out.

I'd say it's worth it, for the huge portion as well as the many layers taking effort

Idk what's the promo

Their croissant are pretty good, still crispy 1h before closing, and quite airy with a chew when you bite into it. The raspberry jam was quite tart and it worked well w the slightly sweet chocolate flakes

Not bad, not mind-blowing though

Always wanted to try Medovik (which is actly a classic Russian honey cake), but first time seeing somewhere that sells this so I had to try it. Their "cake layers" (honey biscuit) were surprisingly really soft and moist, and the cream layer actually tasted more like they added cream cheese (?), instead of what is meant to be whipped sour cream. Cream was actly pretty fragrant though, just that it's too sweet for my liking we didn't manage to finish it.

Wouldn't mind being back to try the other croissants tho - heard the savouries are good and they are honestly super huge unlike the usual croissant sizes, just that the sweet bakes are too much on the sweeter side for me.
