Old is gold. Generously portioned and perfectly pan seared salmon with crispy skin over a choice of brown rice, sushi rice or quinoa. Refreshing toppings gave crunch and flavour. $20++ for the lunch set that included a drink and dessert. Yep, happiness.
A little pricey for what it offers, but kudos to innovating a simple dish. Love their Basil Panna Cotta as well! Not a big fan of the rice bowls though.
If you like your meat red, moist, and just really silky, then you'd find a friend in Kilo's Beef Short Rib Steak. Simply seared, the generous portion of short rib is juicy and tender, sure to please all š® fans. Served with a tangy shiitake salad and some legit onion rings, it's a huge steal at $33.
Though the Squid Ink Fettuccine is really the best in Kilo, we would like to introduce this Soft Shell Crab, which gravy and watermelon really came about as perfect Yin and Yang. Try this if you do not favour the baby eggplants!
Back here for the dinner menu! Come here before 6.30pm, there's no need for queue! Tried the Tai Maki. Yuzu makes the fish taste fresh. Though I couldn't taste truffle and wondered what fried stuff was rolled within; it felt like I just had a western fusion sushi. Well, ambience is still great here.
Talk about eating clean. Vegetables are fresh, seasoning for the quinoa make me want to finish the whole bowl.
