There wasn’t many places that offer the original taste of BBQ from Jilin, which Kao Hao Le offered the cuisine that find in the city of China close to Russia and North Korea border.
Extension selections of grilled skewers with meat or veggie. I recommend trying the rice cake, which is very unique and chewy.
The same goes to the cold noodle and toast.
A rare dish to find in Singapore. This dish is more popular in North Eastern China. A kind of street food there. Although the taste can't compare to China, this is okay for those who want to try. Texture quite similar just the way they cooked it still not what I expect to be like the one I had in Jilin, China.

Had a great catch up with fellow comrade over a skewer party.🥰 Skewers here were delicious, heavily spiced, salted and moderately spicy.

Mutton Kebab($1.20/stick)
Beef Skewer($1.20/stick)
Pork Skewer($1/stick)
Pig Skin($1/stick) - Okay.
Pig Intestine($2/stick) - Fatty.
Chinese Sausage($2/stick) - Curled wonderful and nice to bite.
Squid($6/stick) - Spiced nicely, soft and chewy.
Beancurd Skin($1/stick) - Normal.
Eggplant in tin foil($5) - Nua. Garlicky and salty.
Green Pepper($2/pcs) - Looks spicy but it's not. Quite fragrant to bite.
Grilled Cold Noodles($7) - Standard.
Cold Noodle($8.80) - Refreshingly chilled. Noodle were slurpy and chewy.
Dumplings($6.80) - Decent. Thick skin with standard amount of juicy flavourful meat. The sauce pairing is soy with garlic.
Toast(Honey/Sugar)($1/pcs)😋 - I prefer the sugar one as got more crunch. The butter is fully coated and grilled to perfection.
