Walked past the new outlet at Raffles City and was excited to see a well-designed, new cafe in place of the much-beloved Costa. Was on the way to meeting friend for coffee and thought it would be a great chance to try a new joint. Unfortunately, it turns out that this fully fledged cafe (not a stand) only serves its beverages in takeaway cups. In this day and age? It's a shame. Would never choose to patronise such a Eco-deaf cafe, as would most of the eco-conscious consumers among us.
Delicious drink. Milky and strawberry tasting. Not too sweet as well. Classy place to chill but rather noisy atmosphere- loud music, blender noise, and staff shouting names of people to collect their juice. Really could be a little bit more classy and the place would be perfect to chat and lounge in.
$6. The drinks are sized according to colours grey, purple, yellow and pink ( in order of small to largest) . Coffee has a definite fragrance and the milk froth is smooth and blends well with the single shot!
Juicing strawberries, apples and ginger to get this 12 ounces of Stress Down (S$6.90), I'm feeling that sourness over that gingerly taste. Guess perhaps this is a healthier choice over bubble tea and ice blended coffee.
Perhaps one will reap the real benefits of this combination over time, but honestly, S$6.90 for fresh juice is just too steep for daily consumption.
Hangover Heaven ($6.90)
No hangover here but this juice mix from @joeandthejuicesingapore definitely brought me to heaven as the freshly juiced apples 🍎had elderflower and mint 🍃added to the mix. Thoroughly refreshing!
