Black was much sweeter than the average one you might had in other stall. Coated thoroughly, more greasy feel and had a soft interior with a light crisp exterior.
White had a more eggy feel with a slight crisp, mushy texture and healthy plain tasting. The preserved radish didn't help much in enhancing the overall flavour for it tho I would say it still decent.
Heard their sambal was good, got it, taste it and it was child play. Somewhat sweet, mild spicy and a little funny element.

Feeling peckish late morning when I saw this long queue at Jing Jing. Ordered their white carrot cake $3.00, when it was my turn (queue moves pretty fast).

For me it was hit and miss. I liked the crispy eggs and there’s plenty of it for a small portion. But I wished the eggs would be coated evenly on the strips of carrot cake rather than seeing most of it stand alone by itself. Same goes for the chai poh. Whole clumps of it could be found together while swaths of carrot cake were devoid of it. The carrot cakes itself were quite bland so it was literally a mouthful of delight followed by a mouthful of plainness.

I will come back for their sweet sauce version. Hope it gets better.

Not as good as the white one. It's heated on the spot after the lunch crowd and u can barely taste the chili, it's not the same complex radish chili. Mainly sweet, get the white one and get it during the lunch rush when everything is freshly fried

They got this white pieces that are slightly chewy, supposed to replace squid, not very sure what it was. Prawn was fine, the noodles were slightly sticky and the stock was good too. Noodles were textbook.

Lard was crunchy and very smoky, that helped to carry the noodles which only had a bit of wok hei. Chili was putien-style and the intense sourness means that you don't need to squeeze lime over, it's not as spicy as you would expect from the colour.

Overall a very decent plate

3/5/6 portions available too

Abit oily but well fried, Kueh was soft as well. With their solid execution this stall commands a considerable queue during lunch.

Their chai poh is quite mild but that makes it much more lovely than normal when it's too salty. The sweetness and the savouriness still come through. Their sambal is so unique, it's as satisfying as any other, but there's a freshness in the background, not sure if it's due to radishes. I asked for extra, and then went back for one more helping of sambal.
