Fried dory, cheese, tobiko, cornflakes and bonito flakes. This nonsensical combination led to something good. But take note half the maki don't have cheese, tobiko and mayo.
What an interesting maki. Since it's a peak: at the base is rice with shichimi, followed by aburi salmon, then cucumber, lobster salad and chilli padi. In the mouth, it tries to do too much, so that's something to reconsider.
A very un-Japanese sushi that uses turkey bacon, cereal and egg crepe. But it was delicious haha. You can't go wrong with those ingredients.
Back for their value-for-money wazen. The main is beef steak with shimeji mushrooms, broccoli, corn, capsicum and onion tobanyaki style. Even though Ichiban is relatively decent, I was still surprised that the meat was tender and beefy. Special mentions too for the ebi fry and chawanmushi, which were good. But the salad and orange were lousy haha.
Not bad but q pricy at 22$ w GST and a green tea

Tori Mentai Cream Udon - $12.90
Until 4 Jun only

Warm Japanese udon coated with mild spicy cod mayo sauce, paired with seared chicken, poached egg and greens. Smooth in texture when all mixed together and yet the udon remains QQ. Their seared chicken is super tender, but you may go ahead and remove the skin for a healthier meal. Overall I love the dish & the only thing they can consider doing is serve the udon chilled, in that case the whole dish will be very refreshing
