The herbal black chicken soup was cooked with a chockful of chinese herbs and a whole chicken, resulting in a rich and robust soup that warms the soul. The seafood was plump and fresh, and so were the meats (just look at the marbling on the beef 😍). It may be little for two big eaters, but it was just right for my grandma and I 😊

Mushroom, toufu and Nagaimo soup base
I love dining at hua ting steamboat because everything is so fresh and inviting .
The homemade shrimp wanton , mud carp fishballs , fried yam slices , pork balls are so good that we usually double up on these .
The yunnan vermicelli and the Hk noodles are so fresh and high in quality that we can’t help ordering double portions too.
The soup base here is cooked with superior stock and not msg or salt laden.
Try their homemade thai chilli and home made red chill amongst the 25 over different variety of sauces for your Enjoyment.
The stellar service here is another plus point 😀
Unbeknown to most , Hua ting steamboat serves one of the best casseroles in town. This is a must order dish for my family every time we visit Hua ting steamboat .
We had the privilege of having the head Chef prepare our casserole this evening . It was extra lovely and the chicken was extra tender with keynote flavours of basil , coriander, garlic , dried chilli all combined in an addictive almost si Chuan like spicy sauce. Bite sized black fungus are also thrown in to soak up all the flavours and provide that extra crunch .
After enjoying this chicken casserole , don’t forget to add on an order of housemade ramen and request for your ramen to be stir fried right in front of you in the same casserole . Sit back and watch the magic as the QQ ramen soaks up every bit of that flavourful sauce .
Reminder to scoop up at least half of the remaining sauce in the casserole before stir frying the noodles so that your noodles will not be drowned in too much sauce and That the noodles would not be too salty as well 😗 I figured this one out myself :) so just sharing my 2 cents worth 😍
This meal marks the beginning of my early birthday meal 🥘. Thank you Mummy 😍 dearest .
More to come tomorrow 😀
Hua ting steamboat is my choice place for a superior quality steamboat .
These handmade mud carp fishballs are so fresh and tionk tionk in texture. Perfumed with tangerine peel and spring onion, these huge fish balls stole the Attention of the evening .
Another item that is prepared so well are the simple yam slices . I really cannot figure out how Hua ting prepares these yam slices . They literally melt in your mouth.
Be sure to order the fresh prawn wantons because they are so fresh , they burst with that sweetness of fresh prawns and minced meat. So much care and detail goes into the food preparation that even thinly sliced wood ear fungus go into these wantons to lend an extra crunch.
