had this michelin starred ccf at Anchorvale Village. michelin worthy? tbh not really it's not super silky, but very worth for hawker centre!
Char Siew ($4) (30 cents for takeaway) my colleagues she told me that the serving was quite small but quite ex. I felt that their char siew slightly less tbh but it's really soft and silky texture.
We got the prawn for takeaway, ccf is silky and entirely slurp-able. Sauce is salty with a tinge of sweetness. One portion has 8 prawns and is $5 (add $0.30 for takeaway container)
Lady who took our order has great memory and remembers who made which order even though everyone was sitting around waiting for their ccf.
We ordered the char siew and prawn chee cheong fun that came doused in homemade soya sauce with a dollop of sambal belacan and then sprinkled with sesame seeds. The rice rolls were thin and silky smooth with a melt in the mouth texture.
They are generous with the amount of char siew placed in their rice rolls and this is more sweet and savoury in flavour coming from the char siew. I personally prefer the prawn rice roll that is lighter in flavour with fresh and crunchy prawns wrapped in there.
Char Siew 》$4
Prawn 》$5
(5 SGD) smooth and silky skin stuffed with juicy prawns and sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds. Soaked up the sweet-savory sauce nicely. Was lucky to find little queue on a weekday around 12:30.
CCF was freshly made and it’s so smooth and silky. Char Siew was generous too
