Hakumai Sushi & Omakase (International Plaza)

The best part of the Hakumai Bento ($58) in my opinion is this angel hair pasta topped with fresh melt in your mouth uni. The flavours of the uni really added an extra richness to the already flavoursome pasta which i really like.

Pretty decent bento set from this Japanese restaurant in Tanjong Pagar, and they serve relatively affordable omakase sets as well.

Everything here, including this chirashi don, was fresh, decently portioned and excellently presented. Prices werent too steep either, considering the quality. Really enjoyed my meal here, courtesy of my brother.

Generous servings of fresh sashimi that included salmon, tuna, scallop, prawn and squid. Veggies were refreshing and I really liked the cherry tomatoes- they were slightly elongated and very tangy. Every mouth was filled with freshness and flavour. Was just looking for something light, walked away feeling very satisfied 😋

Comes with 5 pieces of assorted sushi, 3 pieces of salmon mentai maki, cold green tea soba, miso soup. salad and fruits. Didn't like the salmon mentai maki, the mentaiko sauce tasted weird. But sushi is fresh.
