Comes with lobster and South African mini abalone.

The udon was perfectly cooked, with a satisfying chewiness that soaked up the flavourful broth. The broth itself was rich and aromatic, and brought out the sweetness of the lobster beautifully. However, I found the South African mini abalones to have an unusual fishy aftertaste that didn't quite match with the overall excellence of the dish.

4⭐ Had dinner at Hai Tien Lo to clock the Amex dining discount. We ordered two mains, one portion of sea perch and a rice. We were impressed by the eight treasure rice as it's good to eat it on its own without any sides. The chicken fillet is slightly spicy for me as it's cooked with Gong Bao sauce. The sweet and sour pork is coated with the right flour proportion without the batter being too thick and yet the pork is so tender. This is our 3rd time here and we still enjoyed the different dishes so far.

4⭐ Had dinner at Hai Tien Lo to celebrate Mum's birthday. Ordered the signature crispy chicken which has a light tea taste. Meat is juicy and the skin is so thin and crispy. Ordered the BBQ platter and fried rice which WB and I ate before. WB loves the roasted pork bcos it's so lean. I loves the Char Siew bcos it uses Iberico pork which is not so lean. The prawn dish and tofu dish pale in comparison to Si Chuan Dou Hua. Also ordered the Yu Mai Cai which is cooked with fermented beancurd and yet it's not salty.
As it's blackout period hence the GHA membership dining is not applicable, otherwise it can be stack with the current Amex discount for $100 off with minimum spending of $400.
