Went on a weekend lunch, not very crowded. Service staff was efficient, used QR code to scan when we want to top up food for the buffet, so we didn't have to keep asking for the waiter.
Ate Australian wagyu, good flavour. Not as flavourful as Japanese wagyu on my opinion, but it's still good beef! Anyway, the difference is really not huge and u can save about $15 per pax if u take Aussie I think?
This is a Korean BBQ restaurant that calls itself Japanese. We had to wait a hard-to-believe 40 minutes fir some raw meat to BBQ ourselves. The food, when it arrives, is good enough although not top notch. The service staff are friendly, proactive and efficient. We wouldn’t go back as there are better and better-value BBQ restaurants located in more lively malls.
Had a tasty beef bento lunch special with soup and salad for $12.
The set includes side dishes, Bibimbap & dessert. My first time trying bibimbap and man its actually quite yummy w the rice being a little charred.
Meat itself were really juicy & soft, meat/beef lovers would approve of it.
Different types of mushrooms were in the set too & they were really soft, buttery, and sauces were being absorbed! Even the ones that I usually avoid tastes so appealing.
Overall there was nothing that isn't good.
Milk pudding topped w soy powder & jap brown sugar syrup. At first taste it may be a little too sweet to accept but as I dig in it was really addictive! The soy powder balances off the sweetness from the brown sugar syrup & added texture to it. The milk pudding itself was real smooth as it slips into your mouth & works hand in hand w the brown sugar syrup. This is a much better version of the Ajisen milk pudding, a must have!
Grilled lambs for the NEW year at our favorite grill house 😋 May I see the Lamb before me every which way I go in 2014. #byebye2013 #gyukaku
