Contrary to traditional lava cake where the chocolate lava oozes once cut, this one here has the chocolate lava atop the cake at first look 🍫

Rich and luscious, perfect dessert to end a meal. Vanilla ice cream is average, can be better to elevate the pairing with the chocolate lava cake.

Blueberry sauce, yoghurt, maple syrup and almonds minus the edible lavender flowers stated on the menu.

Lavender was evident in the waffles, however there’s also the presence of cinnamon which is overpowering. I would enjoy it better without cinnamon 🧇

Vanilla gelato was alright, having visible vanilla beans specks which was part of the reason I chose it and to pair it with Lavender Waffles. The gelato portion can be bigger though.

Overall its a cosy place situated on the rooftop level. Service can be better and I would go for the Pandan Waffle and Mains if I revisit.

Buttermilk waffle comes with slices of banana, maple syrup and chocolate syrup.

The fragrance of the buttermilk waffles perfumes my nasal passages as I was taking photos. As yummy as it looks, buttermilk waffles crisp and has a flavour of its own, not bland at all. I haven’t had such good waffle in a long time when it comes to new finds 🧇

Gelato choices were Cookies & Cream and Salted Caramel. Salted Caramel resembles a combination of Origins caramel sweet and paddle pop ice cream. Cookies & Cream has this distinct fresh milk taste which made it moreish and memorable.

Another place to add to my fav ice cream waffles list for sure!

Located at the back of Trapizza, lies a little station which serves really good Gelato. Although price is a little steep at $6.40 a scoop, its worth it considering the quality. I chose Vanilla flavour, rich, creamy malted with crunchy bits in it. Definitely a good find to keep a lookout for on a sunny day at the beach.

Desserts and bakes here are drool worthy, and thats what prompted me to take a trip there! 🤤

Brioche Donuts: Ordered one each of the chocolate & kaya to try, the chocolate leans towards dark chocolate which I don’t prefer but the kaya one was an absolute delight! Kaya itself is cold which I find it more enjoyable and delightful!

Kaya Fluff Cake: Home made kaya between these chiffon layers, cream cheese frosting with toasted coconut flakes and pumpkin seeds. Homemade kaya light, fragrant and not sickly sweet - it does leave an impression on me.

Puff pastry sandwiched with vanilla ice cream, strawberry, coconut crumble, almond flakes and drizzled with mixed berries.

The crisp of the puff pastry is alike to that of an apple strudel, giving way upon biting. Tartness of having an assortment of strawberries, blueberries and mixed berries sauce provides layering to it 🍓 Vanilla ice cream blends in well and isn’t overpowering, making the whole combination pleasantly light.

A must have if you visit!

Choice of Ice Cream was Bread Toast, essentially vanilla ice cream with little bits in it. Chose to go with this so it wouldn’t clash or interfere with Mao Shan Wang Lava.

Cookie crisp on the outside but soft and chewy on the outside 🍪 The aroma and warmth of Mao Shan Wang cookie engulfs the cold from the ice cream and cookie instantly. Lava concentrated but not surfeiting so durian lovers should go for this.

Ratio of ice cream, cookie and lava was good. Portion just right to fix your dessert craving.

Really unique pairing of flavors here, with Tahitian vanilla ice cream and strawberry sauce with petals sprinkled all over.

Elderflower jelly took me by surprise how mild and delightful it was, whilst strawberries, pistachio crumb and pomegranate adds further textures, acidity and crunch. These components elevated the overall taste of this sundae.

Given how cleverly put together, for the portion, quality and pricing its recommended for sure. Ice cream waffles related are always such joy✨!

Durian Mousse with fresh durian flesh, I would recommend to go for the double shot to make your money worth it. Chilled smooth, light and aromatic it is a must have if you are a durian lover.

If I’m heading home after I would takeaway too. Take note if you leave it overnight in the fridge the taste will be compromised. The other items on the menu looks good too! Good dessert place to visit!

Gula Melaka layer was juicy, the cake itself moist without being too dry. Thats definitely a nono when it comes to cakes. Coconut shavings added on to the crunch, texture and taste so it makes a great addition. This cake exceeded my expectations at first look and I would have it again.

Quite a nice cafe to stop by and I would also suggest having their iced tea instead of hot tea 🍵

As an alternative, you can take their burnt basque cheesecake into consideration. Really dense, has this slight caramel taste and it doesn’t taste flat which is good so its not one dimensional.
