All the way from Austria since 1919, this traditional bakery set sail and arrived in Singapore early this year with their Signature Cheese Quarter Buns. Looking great behind the transparent containers, I decided to go for this instead of their famous Cheese Bun Original. Absolutely love the gooey cheese filling in the bun that left me wanting more😋. At $5.80, it might be slightly pricey but I guess it’s still worth trying!
$3.80
Only the center area has the filling, crust not flaky enough
Matcha was thick. Cheese inside was thick. Bread was nothing special. Overall quite indulgent so it kinda justified the higher price tag.
Tried 4 different flavours. Original, matcha, chocolate and tiramisu. I thought they were all good. But the one I liked the best was the original. The other ones didnt have much of a cheese taste.
It tastes like a normal average sweet bun and it costs $5.80! I don’t think I will buy it again! 😅
Famous for their devil cheese bun, a bakery from Austria opened their outlet in Singapore recently at Waterway Point.
The filling of matcha inside the bun was fulfilling but felt a bit disappointed with the cheese bun as it doesn’t taste that great to my expectation. It just taste like the usual bun you have everywhere. Perhaps I should order the original cheese bun. $5.80
