The food used to be great so I came back for lunch this time.
Took the 5-course lunch at 40++, which includes cold starter ( duck ) , hot starter ( scallop) , main course ( salmon ) , pasta and dessert. The duck came with a short strand of human hair hidden underneath , which is totally gross . I already ate half of the dish when they replaced it with a new plate. Yucks..
The food is so-so and far worse than last time. With this standard and service quality, I don’t think it’s worth the money. Dun think I would ever go back.
Went for their lunch (approx 50++ per pax) with 7 courses - cold and warm starter, soup, a meat dish, a seafood dish (pictured), pasta and dessert. Both food and service were great, definitely worth a visit! Price for dinner is steeper at 95++.
The lamb was pinkish in the middle and was very tender. There wasn’t any gamey smell and the crust topping had a bit of a crisp that kinda added crunch. Absolutely moreish. 👍🏼
If you’re a fan of creamy carbonara sauce and cheese, you’ll sure to like this. The cheese flavour really stood out but not in an overwhelming way as the hint of acidity from the balsamic vinegar reduction provided a lovely balance. This warm, cosy restaurant doesn't have a menu. It serves Italian food in omakase style and dishes change periodically depending on availability of seasonal produce. Service was perfectly paced so we had ample time to savour every dish before the next one came. All in all, the food was homely, comforting and some dishes were simply spectacular. 👍🏼

Lastly their dessert! Insanely delicious. When I tried their tiramisu and found that it was out of the world, the owner told me that I must tried their panna cotta. .

Smooth, silly and tofu like texture. The hint of hazelnut and just the right amount of sweetness. No doubt this was Beeeessst dessert I had.

Finally come to our main course, a selection of pasta. For this round, I followed my foodie friend recommendation.

Delicious at the first mouth. The flavor of earthy mushroom exploded in my palate. Love the idea which they served it on the pan straight. Robust and good for sharing. .

For those who no a fan of truffle, you must try their aglio olio. I didn't take a picture of that but their aglio olio was the BESSEST I ever tasted!
