We ordered a full rack of ribs and a kombu seaweed fries to share. The ribs was meaty and yummy and came in quite a big portion. Bill was about 70 for two without alcohol.

I’ve never been to Puglia or had Puglia style Italian food before so I don’t know whether it’s authentic, but i thought it was not bad. We ordered the seafood soup and the pork belly and both were good - lots of seafood in the soup, and the pork belly was really lean but still tender with very light and crispy skin. The mushroom soup that we had for appetizer was disappointing tho, felt quite watered down.

This dish bursts with umami flavor and they don’t stinge on the truffle oil at all. We ordered this as an appetizer for sharing. After the first bite you’ll want to order ten more plates for yourself but please control because all the other dishes are super good too 😂

This was definitely the highlight of our dinner at Venue by Sebastian. The fish was nicely seared on the outside but still soft and buttery on the inside. Chilean seabass is very similar to cod fish and is already flavorful on its own, but this was even more amazing when complemented with the truffle yuzu butter sauce and mushroom-bacon ragout.

Served with watermelon and dill, this was an interesting blend of flavors. The watermelon was refreshing and enhanced the flavors of the charred octopus. Food here is interesting but rather pricey considering the small portions.

We visited at about 1.45pm on a Sunday afternoon and waited about 40min for our mains to arrive. And after that waited another > 15 minutes for a slice of cake to be served. Food was alright (tho a tad pricey - 26 for the pictured crab pasta) but the wait was quite frustrating so I probably won’t be back again. At least the food was served hot I guess.

The high tea set here (don’t you just love the name - Tiers of Joy) is probably one of the more affordable ones around, priced at 50++ for two pax, with unlimited services of coffee and TWG tea (pre-brewed). For non-caffeine drinkers like me, their theine-free options are chamomile and vanilla rooibos. Ambience is nice too, with natural light coming through the tall glass windows in the afternoon. Be sure to book ahead if you plan to visit!

We ordered the platter for 4 pax (98++), which had a whole pork knuckle, ribs, a variety of sausages and 2 sides. If you have a bigger group you can go for the platter for 6 which comes with a roast chicken as well! I really enjoyed the pork knuckle which didn’t feel too fatty and had super crispy skin. The sausages were also tasty without being too salty or fatty! Worth the calories I would say.

Went for their lunch (approx 50++ per pax) with 7 courses - cold and warm starter, soup, a meat dish, a seafood dish (pictured), pasta and dessert. Both food and service were great, definitely worth a visit! Price for dinner is steeper at 95++.

Classic meat and seafood hotpot (~$28) - all of the ingredients tasted really fresh, cooked in the light pork bone broth. They even have a little self service sauce station. Makes for a satisfying meal that won't make you feel guilty!

Have to say that the set up of the place is quite lovely, with the pretty lights and the live band. Food on the other hand was extremely average (in fact the fish and chips was quite bad - thick batter and barely any fish). Prices are quite steep too. Probably won't be returning.

Had the garlic steak which, as promised, had LOTS AND LOTS of garlic. I loved the garlic chips but the garlic paste was a little meh. You know the steak itself is good when you order it medium well and it's still super tender and juicy. Steaks here are on the pricier side at about 38++ but other items are approx 20 only, would definite return for the steak and to try other stuff.
