Tried Prawn Paste King Pao Fan from this new stall - Lobster King Pao Fan. The aroma is the first thing that hit me. Counted 3 calms and some prawn paste. Not too rich, a soothing meal for my weak stomach

ate green curry chicken ($5.5) with rice ($1)! it is pretty flavourful and there’s sufficient curry for the rice. there’s brinjal, cabbage, long beans, and chicken slices in it. portion is just ample for me. chicken is tender! the seafood version costs a little more but I prefer chicken hence the option ;)

big portion of rice and chilli was not bad. the “chicken” is fried tau kee which i really liked!! the skin is crispy and inside is soft.

Had the blissful set which is basically a bit of everything - roast duck, roast chicken drum, pork ribs, braised mushrooms, braised egg and vegetables. This was a very hearty hor fun because firstly, I am a liao > carbs person (and mind you, every single ingredient here was done so well) and secondly, the herbal sauce this was drenched in was just like nothing I’ve tasted before! The showstopper for me was the braised mushroom - not sure what sorcery they did to it but it was just so full of herbal flavour and so tender and chewy. Totally would revisit!
