The chicken is chopped into chunky pieces with big pieces of potatoes. It is great to go a bowl of rice or some toasted baguette to soak up that delicious gravy.

Hainanese dish with Peranakan influences in the seasonings. The bread is dipped in egg wash, pan fried, and then stuffed with chicken meat marinated with Asian spices. I really liked this dish. It’s like a Peranakan version of Korean toast, with zhng-ed up French toast, and the bold flavours of the Asian-seasoned minced chicken filling with mushrooms, paired with slices of cucumbers to mellow out the flavours a little. This dish was really amazing and you gotta try it for yourself to know how good this is.
Featuring the Straits Nyonya Laksa with Soft shell crab ($18.90++) from Colonial Club, a restaurant that serves hainanese style western food and nyonya cuisine and our local dishes.
Personally, I am a fan of soft shell crab and laksa, this dish just simply caught my attention when I saw it at people’s posts. The laksa gravy was rich and fragrant! However, personally I would prefer it to go purely with the laksa bee hoon rather than the yellow noodles.
Nevertheless, it’s still worthwhile trying and visiting Colonial Club for a wide spread of mouthwatering dishes! Merry Christmas to all. 📍Changi Airport Terminal 3 Building

4 Slices of Steam bread, kaya and butter sauce.
Note: you will have to do it yourself to spread the sauces over which I find it not bad.. as you can control the amount of spread on the bread. Suitable for someone looking to have a simple bite.
Steamed Fish Mousse in banana cup
Note: served hot, taste and texture of Otah were excellent. Recommended to order this along with any rice.
Kueh Pie Tee, Satay, Inche Kabin (Nyonya Fried Chicken), Popiah
Note: Loved their crackers that was crunchy and delicious. Satay had a generous portion of meat, satay sauce were alright. Kueh Pie Tee outer skin were moistured up already when served. Popiah had a generous filling but so-so only as the popiah skin were too thick and lack of the texture found in hawker centres. Excellent for sharing.
