These weren't the most elegantly made pot stickers, but the taste was good enough.
We didn't eat hotpot so this was our chance to try their mutton soup. Both soup and meat hit the mark. Fragrant. Because it's ribs, the cut was fantastic. But I wish it's gamier. The soup can do without the sesame oil lah. The noodles weren't the best, lacking bite.
The correct way to make this dish so addictive. It wasn't chokingly spicy. Just fragrant. I just wish it's not so much breast meat.
This felt a bit like supermarket frozen prata, which was surprising since the Chinese are proud of this snack. With that said, it was oddly satisfying.
I've been eating mutton hotpot.
This is the first time I'm having these dishes for lunch. Yummy. Authentic
红烧牛肉刀削面 $5.50
重庆口水鸡 $10 - 👍
川北凉粉 $6 - love how the vinegar sauce is blending in the chilli oil 👍
猪锅贴 $8 👍
My favourite steamboat place — crazy flavorful soup (think tonkotsu ramen broth but mutton), melt in your mouth lamb ribs, funky Chinese appetizers like that seaweed/beancurd skin thing at the back which are awesome.
