Kinsahi has a few outlets across Johor Bahru in many places.
This weekend I was here for movie and grab some lunch over here. Offering a wide range of Japanese cuisine.
Their curry rice options also lots of choices and the mixed fried comes with the tempura, vegetables and fried chicken.
The chicken curry sauce come separately and you can pour on the rice at once or by your choice.
Creamy and not too spicy.
Rm13 to Lau Yee Sang by yourself.
Yes that zaru soba bowl is made of ice, a solid block of ice shaped like a bowl, how cool is that (pun 100% intended).
Nice restaurant, cosy, even has trains to deliver sushi to your table.
Try out the sashimi, it's really fresh.
Great portion of food and effort is put in the presentation! Enjoy the dining ambience.
It’s really affordable and good. Better than several jap casual restaurant in Sg and the bill usually cost the same, just different currency. I always overeat until food coma here😂 Some recommendation: Aburi Salmon Maki, Nabeyaki, Udon, Sashimi is thick and fresh and Tonkatsu with egg and rice set. Don’t forget to ask for complimentary pudding at the end of ur meal.
Do visit when you are in Johor!
Nearest outlet to Jb checkpoint: Pelangi and Mount Austin. Expect long queue during dinner time.

The only Sashimi buffet in JB. I would like to compliment one of the server who was attentive and helped us ask the kitchen staff to customize our order such as Mentai Nigiri without the rice.
The oyster, salmon sashimi etc are fresh too.
Such an affordable buffet should not be missed and should be at least try once.

Went to this restaurant recommended by my friends. While waiting for seats, there are complimentary drinks and snacks outside.
Each dishes is presented very elegant. What surprised me the most is how large the oyster is. The oyster is almost the size of my palm. The oyster is fresh and juicy.
The sashimi was also great too. The salmon and tuna slices are very thick. It is equivalent to 2 piece of the usual slices in other restaurant.
The Chirashi Don consists of 3 slices of Salmon (sake), Tuna (maguro), Yellowtail (hamachi) respectively, Prawn (ebi), Crabstick (kani) and Flying fish roe (tobiko).
It’s pretty fresh and has a good thickness. However, I’d wish they included some hotate and mekajiki into this bowl. The rice was quite little in proportion to the sashimi.
The Chawanmushi was well done too. Topped with Ikura, it gave the steamed egg extra flavor when it burst in your mouth.
