Freshly prepared burger, cooked to perfection.
Still pink inside, it's like eating Beef Tataki in a bun.
Try their Thai flavoured Bangers and Mash, homemade fresh sausages , infused with Basil etc but tasted a little more like Polygonum leaves/ Daun Kesom/ Laksa leaves.
Lamb steak served with mixed vegetables and roast potatoes. $23.50 (but I had a 50% discount) which made it extremely worth it. The meat was medium rare yet tender and the mint sauce complemented the lamb flavour.
Spicy grilled chicken (extremely tender) topped with caramelized onions, (crisp) turkey bacon and blue cheese sauce! The burger and fries portion was huge. Extremely worth it for $14.50.
This cafe is easy to walk past, especially when it's along the same stretch as well known Pacamara and Habitat, but we decided to give it a try. Almost got the Salted Egg Pasta, but I decided to give the Chicken Confit a try. It comes with the typical mushroom cream sauce, mesclun salad, and potato wedges. At first I was really happy because there was a satisfying crackling sound when I cut into the skin, however the meat was not as tender as I would like, and it was a bit dry. The steak was quite decent. The oysters were fresh and plump and so worth it! Every Sunday all oysters are $1.50 with the purchase of any main, for the whole day. So if you're making a trip down, Sunday is the best and only day to do it.
Awesome pasta, tastes really well and it was cooked nicely. Serving of pasta is a lot conpared to others. For that pasta it only costs $17. Ordered an additional drink as well which you do not find often anywhere.. great combo together. Definitely affordable for that satisfying taste and would recommend it to anyone!
Overall, the dish was good. Except for the eggs. Absolute fail.. They looked like a mess of a presentation and came to us, slightly undercooked.
