Enjoy the Burppleās one for one promotion before it end this month. I really like their pork rib which was so juicy. $16.40
The pork belly was so good!!! The noodles and the soup too!! Not the best, but for the 1-1 promotion, TOTALLY worth it!!! Tried the char siu one before, didn't like it. But the black garlic soup is good too š
No visit to Buta Ramen would be complete without having these fall-off-the-bone ribs. Cooked sous vide and then flame-torched for that smokey finish, you can choose to have this with one of their hearty ramens or in a rice bowl!
Preferred this much more than the grilled belly.
From broth thatās made fresh daily, to custom blend sauces and long chats over lots of beer, you would be very satisfied here.
My personal favorites are the Beer Belly ramen and the Shoyu ramen. Sapporo beer is added to the stock of the Beer Belly ramen for an interesting malty taste, that I really enjoyed! The Shoyu ramen had a broth that went in the opposite direction - super clean tasting, while still maintaining a strong, rich flavor without the cloudy, fatty goodness from the regular broth. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it.
Many thanks to Chris and Burpple for the invite. #burpple #butaramensg
What a surprising dish to find at a ramen shop! But this is exactly what they mean when they say this Ramen joint run by 3 Singaporeans does not pretend to be Japanese despite their clear niche. Dishing out bowls of ramen that has been tweaked to the local tastebuds, theyāve come up with items that arenāt quite your typical jap but nonetheless retain their perfectionist standards. Their signature sous vide flame-grilled kokuni pork belly sandwiched between mantous is a twist on a traditional Chinese dish, and boy, the result is spectacular!
One of Buta Ramenās owners is a huge beer-lover, and perhaps thatās how this dish came about! This premium ramen is made from a rich tonkotsu broth and what they call a āhealthy dose of Sapporo beerā. Everything in moderation, I guess you canāt dispute that! Plus it lends such an amazing breath of malty flavor that adds a whole new dimension to the umami-laden broth. The icing on top of the cake, a long slab of flame-grilled, almost melt-in-your-mouth yakitori pork belly. *slurps*
