Bland. Yup, bland. Definitely, underseasoned. I had to tear open a packet of ketchup and mustard to wake up my taste buds. By the way, “the works” already comes with ketchup and mustard! A far cry from the burger joint on 57th Street located in The Thomson Hotel next to Le Meridien, Central Park. If anyone is wondering, i had the same burger a week ago in NYC. So, when I exclaim the SG version is disappointing - it is terribly disappointing (and more expensive too)! Honestly, I was hoping I would have a divine experience in my home country but I was plunged into hell.

Visited Burger Bar New York the other night and we love how it’s so secretively hidden in a back alley! Made us feel like we were some secret society members 😬 they sell a series of no-frills burgers here that really hit all the right spots. Portion sizes were also surprisingly massive and we left feeling very full and content. Would recommend it if you’re in the Telok Ayer area!

The burgers are what you expect it to be, but the fries are a little bit disappointing. I “tabao” it so they did state that it’s best eaten reheated but I didn’t. The ingredients (bacon, cheese, jalapeños) in the fries looked like they would be awesome but what I had was soggy so I would only get it if I had a way to reheat it.

Got the bacon cheeseburger with “all the works” which is basically all the toppings. The lettuce wasn’t soggy, the burger was warm, and the bacon just the right level of crispiness. Never been to USA so I can’t follow when people say it taste like what you get over there, but this burger hits the spot when you want a burger fix.

The burger looks both impressive and intimidating at the same time. The herbs in the burger were well balanced and the crunch was nice too. However, if you don’t finish it fast (within 20mins) the burger will start to feel oily and “jelat”. All in all, go there for the beef burgers. You can have this at a regular fast food place for a fraction of the price.

Used Entertainer’s for 1-for-1. Pretty crap burger. Patty had almost no seasoning, can barely taste the cheese or bacon. My companions had to put ketchup for every other bite. Don’t remember them to be this bad. Had the bacon cheese fries to share. It was great but condiments was meh. Probably won’t return again. I think I enjoy McDonald’s more.
