With beautiful specks of tea, Baristart Coffee Singapore’s newest limited-edition Teh Tarik Cream Puff ($7) really delivered. Keeping to their crazy cream-to-puff ratio, the National Day special is available only till 31 August. The Ceylon tea-infused signature Hokkaido BIEI Jersey Milk custard was so fragrant, intense and lusciously smooth - perfect when paired with the thin crisp and crusty choux pastry. One for tea lovers, it also kinda resembles a good Thai tea cream - a complex blend of sweet and floral, with warm, earthy and nutty notes.
Teh Tarik Cream Puff ($7) is under limited edition for NDP seasonal menu and end under end of month. So the taste replication for teh tarik is so similar (creamy and milky). Its giving off local vibes for national day month.
The fresh milk taste was very distinct! But would have liked more coffee…maybe i should have gotten an extra shot
Love their original one & their coffee infused one is even better!💯 Prominent coffee aroma in rich milk cream, puff is crispy as usual with crunchy bits of nuts. Worth the price for the size to share🙌🏻
