Victorian style looking room with grand looking chairs and a fake fireplace. There’s even a stool for a doggie. But the downside was that it was pretty warm and stuffy inside.

We came here for this gem. Only available from 5pm and we literally counted down. This was Soo good and rich in garlicky taste and you can taste the yam too. Lots of meats and mushroom added in. For $18, it's a tad pricey, but abacus seed is notoriously hard to cook and the Victorian themed ambience here is perfect too.
They serve lunch menu with some pretty good foods as well in this beautiful decorative interior.
Their chicken thigh confit is really soft and juicy. Pair well with the Japanese rice and furikake. You also can pour the Bak Kut Teh collagen broth onto the rice, or drink it directly to enjoy the broth taste.
The side dish I gotten is the cold and soft beancurd with bonito flakes. You also provided with brown crispy rice puff that you can add to the meal for extra crispiness or dip with the beancurd sauce.
Across PLQ Mall within Paya Lebar Quarter you would find this really beautiful cafe as its name suggested.
Perfect location for special occasions, and of course a place to grab some decent lunch on weekdays as well.
They offer quite extensive range of drinks here. For something fancy and refreshing, I would recommend to go with their teatail.
Strawberry Oolong tasted sweet and strong, a perfect drink for this super hot weather outside.
A very pretty cafe
A huge plate of morning yummy. The serving was indeed huge, very worth the price. But it was a tad too oily. The bread was a bit too "chao tar". But the spinach and mushroom was good. Wished that the bacon was a bit crisper. Overall, it was a good dining place for brunch.
