Famous Yong Dau Foo at Albert Hawker Centre that is always packed with people queuing. Standard ingredient and every bowl comes with bee hoon in it. 6 ingredients for the small ones and 7 for the big ones. What is unique here is their paste, soft and chewy! Other than that, the rest of the ingredient and soup is quite normal tho.
Not jian bo tiong bahru because we missed it as it is located at the corner of the hawker centre. The chye poh was a tad too oily and salty to my liking. Prefer the kueh to be softer than this.
Nice and crispy chips coated with truffle and sprinkled with lots of cheese powder. Truffle smell is not that strong but still quite addictive as pre-dinner snacks
Not too sure why is there a βbakedβ wording in the drink name but is definitely not some βbaked milkβ here. Fresh milk with red bean, not something very wow but more of a staple drink that someone would like to have on a non-cheating day!
Itβs going for quality and not quantity over here at Andaz! Love the overall consistency of all the food that they offered. There are both buffet spread and ala carte ordering. Special mention to their red bean soup which i love it so much that i had 2 servings of it! Not starchy but just the right consistency of the gooeyness! The sweetness was so light with dried citrus being added in. Another mention-worthy dish is their fried carrot cake, soft carrot cake with the right proportion of egg makes it so flavourful!
Tomato based stew with peas, diced carrots and potato. Love the tangy taste of the stew and the substantial amount of barranmudi i can find!
Mixed rice bowl topped with teriyaki chicken, onsen egg and boiled carrots, cauliflower and broccoli. Nicely done onsen egg that i can mixed with the rice. Teriyaki chicken was pre-cooked and heat it up before serving to us.
Oh wow! Super intense and sweet white chocolate that was so creamy on the first bite! The nuts add on to the fragance of the white chocolate and neutralises the sweetness of the white chocolate which makes them the perfect pairing!
Fried enoki mushroom that was so addictive and satisfying!! Hopes that because itβs mushroom and it can lessen my guilt!
Fried chicken thigh with fried taukwa and tempeh too! Additionally, it came with a packet of golden crispy bits, it goes so well with the rice! Despite being fried, the tenderness of the meat was not compromised!
Grilled chicken thigh with fried tau kwa and tempeh. The meat on the chicken thigh was tender and soft. The cucumber and raw cabbage was a good additional touch to cleanse your palate after the intense flavour from the chicken.
