Fresh, large, meaty sweet threadfin fish, in a sour spicy lemongrass broth, topped with homemade chili. Like a Thai Tom Yum, and so good.

Good, intense flavour of the savoury sweet fresh clams in this milky broth. With silky bee hoon, crunchy spring onions, and a little heat from the chili. Unique zi char dish!

Salted Chicken 盐鸡 (菜园鸡) ($18/ half chicken)
Cooked with Chinese Angelica root (Dang Gui), the chicken was very tender and flavourful, soaking up the flavours of herbs without the bitterness.
The dish can found at this Zhi char stall which is located just across from the well known 4-D lottery outlet in Chong Pang city.
The outlet has been operating since last November.
It is currently having a promotion for its crabs at $38.80 for 2 pieces. Each piece weighs about 400 to 450 grams.
