Tastes not bad, the rice and mutton. The cucumbers are a bit tasteless, not sure if it's supposed to be achar.

Operations are a bit messy, took a while from the time order was taken to the time food was served.

The taste is good, chicken is juicy and tender and well flavoured with the black pepper sauce. But it's quite small and thin to be honest. It looks a bit bigger in the picture cuz of the onions and peas underneath.

The garlic bread is nicely toasted and parts that got the black pepper sauce is extra delicious. Loved that there's a whole slab of butter with the baked potato but think it might be unsalted butter. Could be better with salted butter.

Changed out the baked beans with coleslaw and it's alright.

Unlike your typical deep-fried variants, the Black Pepper Chicken ($8) is grilled and on a hotplate, keeping it warm as it is served sizzling! Peppered with goodness from the black peppercorns, the chicken is tender and juicy, definitely not dry! This is served with a base of fresh onion, a slice of garlic bread, vegetable medley and potato with a little butter, covered in a blanket of black pepper sauce.

The sides are not especially unique but the quality of the tender protein more than makes up for it. Definitely our go-to place for simple western cravings minus the guilt that comes with deep fried food!
