Rich and umami broth. The broth is wonderfully made, quite addictive. Crispy rice is real crisp and also got fried beancurd skin. You can really hear the crunch sound when you're eating. The broth comes with some thin sliced bitter gourd and clams in it.
Recommend to have a dip of their tangy sweet mild spicy chilli to experience a unique taste.😋

Found a good place that sell delicious Curry Char Siew with Chee Cheong Fun(咖喱叉烧猪肠粉)($4.50)👍🥘
The best combi you can get when you just love curry and chee cheong fun. Just look at how the glow of orange coming from that savoury & mild spicy curry, it tells a good sign that its going to be yummy for sure. The curry had long bean, pig skin, fried beancurd, pork lard, shallot, etc in it. The spiciness isn't that spicy and I am sure non-spicy eater can handle it too. The lemak-y is quite smooth. Fluidity is good. Great consistency.
For the chee cheong fun, it soaks up the curry fast and pretty well. Every piece is soft and coated full of the curry.😋 Its a slurping goodness and tastisfying moment.
For the char siew, I would say it pretty normal and a bit artificial. It kinda hard in texture, the taste is normal. Like eating sliced lup cheong liddat.
But hey, for the price, it's worth it, don't you think?🤔

Just exploring the new places in Yishun and it make me found some delicious makan place.
The whole coffeeshop is totally based on theme Malaysia and some serve up really quality food.
I order from the Zi Char stall.
KL Dar Lok Mee(KL 大碌面)(S-$6/L-$10)
Thick fat chewy udon-like yellow noodles in savoury heavy dark sauce comes with fish cake, fresh peeled prawn, flavourful pork and vegetables.😋
I like how every strand of the noodles is coated evenly and thus being slurpy and tastisfying.😊
Tend toward a salty side if you are a light eater.
Definitely, going back to try out more food.
