Worth the long queue. The Ikan Bilis was so crispy and goes well with the vermicelli. $3 for the basic and add $1 for a fish cake. Yums!

We've been patronizing this Yong Tau Foo stall since young and having this again really brings back childhood memoriesšŸ‘! The Kway Teow may look pretty bland and unassuming, but it tastes really flavourful. What's special about their Yong Tau Foo is the addition of Ikan Bilis, which tastes really good in itšŸ˜! It might not be the best Yong Tau Foo around, but definitely has a nostalgic taste we'll keep going back foršŸ˜Š.

This is my favourite place for yong tau foo - their fish paste is flavourful, soup is light but tasty, and the ikan bilis is crisp. My favourite component is the stuffed taukee! I usually get kway teow, which is slurpy and lightly drizzled with sesame oil. We added on fried eggplant, which is oily but sinfully good. The queue gets pretty long even at 7.30am, which is a testament to how delicious it is :)

One of the cheapest (and good tasting) handmade yong tau foo stalls in Singapore. Canā€™t get it more value for money than this. I filmed a video review of this stall. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/Dh1XTgYW2Iw

Beehoon is tossed in a light sesame sauce, topped with crispy and delicious ikan bilis. The kwayteow is rly yums too, but they ran out by the time it reached my turn so no kwayteow for me that day. I added on an eggplant, which was so gooOod :)

The ytf consists of taupok, taukwa, fishball & taukee.

My absolute favourite is the taukee, which is stuffed with their homemade fish paste, and it is so delightfully savoury yet not too salty (itā€™s the saltiest out of the 4). Coming in as 2nd fav is the taukwa, which is soft & fresh, and generously stuffed with the yummy fish paste. 3rd fav would be the taupok!

I donā€™t like the fishballs unfortunately, but that doesnā€™t stop Xiu Ji from being my favourite ytf stall. It was a tough fight amongst the ytf that Iā€™ve tried, but this emerged as champion (wuhu!)

I am aware Iā€™m being a little too dramatic but hey, ytf is my fav hawker food :-D
