Everytime I came by I would see a long snaking queue for this store. Finally, on a Sunday noon when I thought the line wasn't as long, I decided to take the plunge and join the queue.

Lots of different options, all at very affordable prices. We decided on the signatures - the Grilled Chicken Chop and the Grilled Pork Chop. Topped up for the Soup of the day as well. All in all, the food was well-worth all the good reviews and the long lines. Definitely value-for-money and restaurant-quality, and dare I say this could even compete with the likes of Astons. The meats were juicy, tender, and well-charred; the side dishes and soup were all top notch. To be honest, I would eat this every week if not for the queues.

Wild Olives is clearly no stranger to the East hawker scene, serving affordable Western fare. I had the ๐†๐‘๐ˆ๐‹๐‹๐„๐ƒ ๐๐Ž๐‘๐Š ๐‚๐‡๐Ž๐ ($๐Ÿ•.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ) with mushroom rice and grilled herb potatoes๐Ÿฅ”๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ In my humble opinion, this is the best main+sides combi.

Went to Wild Olives a few weeks back and ordered their Grilled Chicken with Homemade Coleslaw and Mushroom Rice ($7.20)๐Ÿ˜‡

Overall ratings 8/10! Thought the chicken was pretty good on its own but the sauce was quite overpowering. Mushroom Rice was also not to my liking, maybe because of too much caramalised onions๐Ÿ˜… Waited an hour on a weekday evening to queue, might head back again to try other items instead๐Ÿ˜

Wild Olives will continue to satisfy your western food cravings and their unique dishes (and sides) are a cut above the rest. Although theyโ€™ve increased prices, their food is still relatively affordable. Youโ€™ve got to try out their food yourself to know how good it is! ๐Ÿค๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

P.S. come 1 hour before opening to be the first few in line, grab a book, a chair and brace yourself for the queue! ๐Ÿซก

This featured a generous slice of fresh salmon slathered with a smooth honey mustard cream sauce. The fish was grilled well and was soft and flakey on the inside, with a crispy skin on the outside it was really SO satisfying.

Their grilled chicken was quite standard. Tender and juicy, it went well with the mushroom sauce. We wanted a change for today, but weโ€™d stick with our usual, their pork chop, next time.
