Got the Bua Lai - Sai Mai Bingsu without knowing what it was, and turns out it's bingsu ice topped generously with cotton candy and a mound of mochi-like balls. Visually quite interesting, but the candy floss was altogether just cloyingly sweet. Also, there was too little shaved ice. Very much regretted this and should've just gone with the usual bingsu. Though, the ambience was quiet and cold, many customers were doing work at the other tables.
($13.90) I did wanted to visit the cafe but it's located opposite fortune centre so it's quite too much food at the particular area. So I just tried their signature series so I didn't expected how good it is? So I just ordered this but then I kinda regretted or disappointed when I try it out ~ So the thai green milk tea sauce on the bread and honey sauce taste quite weird enough tbh and then the toast was quite soft, crispy and crunchy imo (but I did enjoyed toast). The green tea ice cream just be taste jasmine green tea lol but then I am like thinking that I should not do ordering their future in the future i guess :) So I think that their dessert is not that fantastic but just for aesthetics cafe.
Went to Wan Wan Thai Cafe a few days ago for dessert and ordered their Green Tea Bingsu ($12+ after gst)😇 Overall ratings 9/10! Third time here and bingsu is still refreshing and yummy😋 Would head back again to try other bingsu flavours next time!!
Sai-Mai Toast is a Thai style cotton candy toast. Visually attractive, the webs of cotton candy added a sticky texture and made the already-sugary dessert over-cloyingly sweet. The toast was missing the crisp though. And though the Thai milk tea ice-cream had a nice balanced sweetness and milkiness with a nice tea fragrant, the black tea flavour could be more prominent.
my fav dessert place actually.... their bingsus are super worth and yummy!! featured is their green milk tea bingsu which tastes super authentic, ice is well flavored and very milky!! love the crumbs on the bingsu as they add extra crunch to it. for 11.9++ it is definitely a steal
Really liked the Bingsu and the milk tea ice cream :) not a super huge fan of the bread below (forgot the name hehe)
