WAKANUI Grill Dining (Marina One)

Came here for a birthday dinner and had an amazing experience. The steak was tender and juicy. We alao ordered the scallops which were flavourful.

The restaurant itself is very aesthetic, and it was quiet when we went at night. The restaurant were friendly and attentive too.

We ordered a premium steak sandwich ($45) made with ocean beef ribeye. Sandwiched in brioche, the ocean beef is produced by Angus-breed cows raised in a stress-free pastoral environment along the coastal area of Wakanui, South Canterbury 🐄 Together with the brioche and wholegrain mustard mayonnaise, this hearty combination is only available for lunch.

Trust me, I am not typically a huge fan of lamb meat but this rendition deserves a try! Binchotan char-grilled, the signature lamb chop is tender and not gamey. Had my doubts initially so I tried the taster’s portion but they also have this available as half or full rack 🍖

If you’re craving for seafood, try the chef creation of wild caught white fish. We had the seabass with caviar, with roasted brussels sprouts, baby corn and pumpkin purée 🐟

It is a 4 course prix fixed lunch sets of Ocean Roast Beef or Premium Steak Sandwich. The portion is just nice and the food was delicious and yummiest as I try the Ocean Roast Beef, fresh and good!!!
