Though I am usually on team crispy and flaky for my croissants, Waga Waga Den’s Rosuto Niku ($20+) was a pleasant surprise as the viennoiserie pastry was so buttery and soft. An indulgent snack, the off-menu item is one to savour as the thinly sliced roasted wagyu was wonderfully seasoned and tender - almost melts in the mouth. The tinge of tanginess from the mustard was the cherry on top.

Very good matcha latte. Could taste the authentic bitterness of the matcha unlike places that use sweetened matcha powder. Love it!

w/ Warabi Mochi, Azuki Brioche

Weekend coffee things at @wagawagaden. We had a Cloud (Iced Cappuccino) and a Concrete (Iced Mocha) and enjoyed how the coffee had a rich aroma, going well with the cocoa powder (along with chocolate for the Concrete) 😋 the coffees are strong, with quite a caffeine kick which made it nice for a lazy weekend 😌

The small modern looking shopfront is located at the corner of the compound with outdoor seatings. The petite size azuki brioche has nice portion of red bean paste in it, with thick slice of butter sandwiched in between. Lovely pick. Their warabi mochi was soft, not those QQ type, I don’t enjoy it. I do like their refreshing Shaken Lychee Tea ($8), great beverage during sunny afternoon
