Not my first time eating top 1 homemade noodles! Super love the dry banmian with chilli! It comes with a few minced meat balls, pork balls and stewed mushrooms. Top up $2 for 4 pieces of imitation abalone slices!

The chilli is spicy! No need to top up 30 cents for additional chilli.

They were open on sunday, though google map indicated they were closed on sundays. The queue wait was around 20-25mins on a sunday late morning

This is a bloody difficult stall to eat at, given the queue and the service, and here's my verdict: it's decent, but not worth the hassle.

Arrived early and managed to place my order without having to stand in the queue today! ✌🏻 — Certainly, a nice start to this weekend where I will begin shopping for festive food and CNY 🧧🧧goodies.

Their signature dry version comes with a bowl of noodles and soup served separately — Springy handmade noodles mixed with slightly sweet-savoury dark soy sauce, crunchy anchovies, braised mushrooms, minced meat, meatballs and abalone slices is pure comfort and winsome! Slurp up the cloudy soup bursting with umami flavour to enjoy the full experience. 😋

($6.50) My sister she order this noodle but she told me that it was quite salty and not that nice :")

($4.50) I really tried it during last day of 2023 :") so it took a while because of long queue and not much sit area for us to dine in previously. The long queue always there so you need to queue for ordering noodle first and then need to wait for your turn to be calling out by number. The sweet sauce supposed to add with chili but my sister opt out for me :( as spicy intolerant :") The sweet sauce was quite sweet and I always
add soup inside the bowl to reduce sweetness. The serving for noodle still nice tbh but too salty for me as I keep drinking more water.

I’m always deterred from trying this popular stall due to the constant snaking queue.

It comes as a total surprise to see there is no customers waiting in line. I quickly placed my order despite finishing a full meal just 10 minutes earlier.

Ordered their dry u mian {no chilli 🌶} with minced meat, sliced mushrooms, ikan bilis, vegetables and abalone slices.

The u mian vaguely reminds me of the Heng Hwa-style lor mee / handmade noodles that my mom used to cook a few decades back.

It has a nice springy texture mixed with less salty and slightly sweet-savoury dark soy sauce. Taste-wise, I feel that the concentrated dark sauce somewhat overpowers the flavours of all the ingredients.

While, the bowl of soup on the side has a robust and flavourful base — such a joy! 🫶🏻
