Went to Tomyum Mama recently and ordered their Claypot Pork Tomyum Mama ($10.90), Fried Chicken Wings ($6.90), and a Thai Milk Tea!😇
Overall ratings 10/10! Really no complaints, ate a few times and food is good and affordable! Would definitely head back again💯
as the name tomyum mama suggest, tomyum here delicious and not so spicy, drinks (milk tea) really good and glass noodles have wok hey taste. 8/10
Claypot Tom Yum Mama served with Prawns,Scallops,Baby Octopus,Roasted Pork,Pork Ball,Pork Slices And Egg.
You are able to choose your spicy and sour level of the tom yam soup. The onsen egg, when mixed with the tom yam soup, gave the soup some added "flavours", this combination was so tasty, I almost finished the tom yam soup before I could finish the mama noodles.
The seafood was fresh. Prawns, although came with its shell on, was so fresh and cooked so well that the shell easily peels off.
Overall, I find this rather good, and I finished the tom yum soup till its last drop.
Even Da Pao 1 back for the wife.
Was initially hesitant about paying close to $10 for jazzed up instant noodles but decided to try it just for the hype. The soup is a bit too oily for my liking but very flavourful and I think they cook with actual tom yam and not just the seasoning packet from the maggie mee. Generous with ingredients too and I like how the sourness and spicy level is customisable - went for level 2 for both and it was just nice. Had a bit of stomach upset the next day though as haven’t eaten oily food in a while haha
Went to Tomyum Mama and ordered 2 Claypot Mama Noodles ($13.90 each), 2 Green Milk Teas ($1.90 each) and Deep Fried Chicken Split Wings ($5.90)😇 I think that the dishes were all decent and affordable so overall ratings would be an 8/10! Would want to try other items on the menu when i revisit too☺️👍🏻
simple and no frills eatery just a stone away fr upper thomson mrt!
tried their signature tom yum claypot and i think it’s pretty good. you can choose ur spiciness and sourness levels from 1-3 and we opted for level 1 for both.
there were pork belly slices, 2 prawns, meat ball and a clam? and an egg. noodles were not over cooked either.
enjoyed the basil pork rice too, esp since it was served w the onsen egg
also opted for a less sweet version of the thai green milk tea. could taste the fragrance of it.
prices were pretty reasonable, claypot was around $14 and their rice dishes were priced below $10.
