pretty decent stews at a rly affordable price!! the bourguignon ($7 for large) was hearty and flavourful, with a generous amount of tender beef cubes! but the chicken and mushroom veloute ($8 for large) was a slight miss as it tasted watered down and the chicken chunks cld have been more seasoned :( the accompanying ingredients in the soup were rly yummy though and they complemented the stews v well!! + the roasted pumpkin w thyme ($2 per serving) was well done too!

A thick and hearty stew of beef brisket, shiitake mushrooms, onions, carrots, potatoes, and herbs, the flavours are deeply earthy savoury with hints of salty vegetal sweet.

The vegetables within are sufficiently tender, while the beef still has a slightly firm bite, but yields easily.
