Decided to try their brunch menu instead of their fish and chips/ lunch. This was decent, but not great. The entire combination was okay, but the bread was just a bit too cold and hard for my liking.

Oh, but the iced latte was good!

Small little restaurant with 2 levels along Haji lane with a pretty nice and quiet ambience. Ordered the fish and chips, burrata, Welsh rarebit and an iced long black. The food was pretty decent, however overall we felt that it was slightly pricey. I would recommend to try their sourdough bread - that really stood out and paired well with the burrata! The fish and chips was really fresh! However, the long black was pretty diluted.

Mad Sailors used to serve huge portions of fish & chips at an affordable price. They recently changed their menu and in my opinion, it's too pricey and portions are really small.

Ambience and service were good but my friends and I agreed that with the price we paid, visiting a restaurant will make a lot more sense.

We paid about $30 for roasted chicken and was expecting at least half a chix. But only 1/4 came. Presentation was on point but definitely did not justify the price.

Both dishes were very yummy. The fish and chips are the best Iā€™ve ever tried! Light and crispy batter, and the fish has a good bite.

šŸŸCod Fish and Chips ($18.9): Decent plate of fish and chips ā€” though nothing out of the ordinary or particularly memorable. But it was really worth it with Burpple Beyond!
šŸLaksa Pesto ($18.9): Again, nothing that really WOW-ed me. Couldnā€™t taste the pesto cream, so the pasta just tasted like Dry Laksa to me. I wouldā€™ve liked the sauce to be a little creamier (maybe a bit more coconut milk..?)

The Pesto Cream Fish was a zesty blend of fish, salad and mashed potatoes.
