The Headless Baker (Ghim Moh Market)

For many people been to Ghim Moh Market for meal, they would probably drop by this bakery stall to grab some pastries before leaving.

All available pastries for the day will be displaying on the shelf. I gotten myself their teacake selections including the Lemon Rose Pistachio, Raspberry Friand, Pandan and Earl Grey Lavender.

Very firm yet soft texture with strong flavour for each of them.

We decided to rush to Ghim Moh market & food centre to pig-out amid the scorching mid-day heat 🥵, before it closes for repair and redecoration from 1st March.

Zoom-in on my favourite food stalls including roast meat @ Sheng Ji Shao La 昇记烧腊, laksa @ 63 Laksa, braised duck @ Chuan Kee Boneless Braised Duck 全记, etc.

Spontaneously got this cutie-pie to end my meal. It’s petite in size with a tinge of lemon zest, topped with lemon frosted-icing, edible rose petals and crushed pistachio. 🫶🏻

Every cakes on the display at Headless Baker looks damn good to be honest.

The Pandan And Chocolate Tea cakes were a little moist, which was just the right texture.

The Hojicha Financier had a strong and evident Hojicha taste. Texture was just like the tea cakes, moist level just right.

The Banana Cakes were the best for me, I am a real sucker for banana cakes and the banana cakes here maybe 1 of the best I ever had.

This baker defintely have very awesome cakes, but Very Pricey Though.

The headless bakery was found in Ghim Hoh Hawker where they sell plenty of pretty and delicious bakes 😍😋 such as santa box , elegant box rosemary lemon loaf , sunshine lemon pistachio loaf , banana loaf, earl grey lavender bundt , dalgona coffee loaf and cookies.

Having there 𝗗𝗮𝗹𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗳, i love their loaf ! Not too sweet at all , can taste the rich coffee butter cake and topped with roasted hazelnuts. Pefect for coffee lover👍😍☕️☕️

I'm usually not a fan of coffee cake but this dalgona coffee loaf from @theheadlessbaker really has that oomph (and made some of our hearts beat faster from the caffeine 😂). The cake was moist with a strong coffee flavour along with the sweetness from the icing. I liked how the roasted hazelnuts complemented the coffee and added an extra crunch too! This is truly for coffee lovers and we enjoyed this a lot 😋
