Curried crunchy chicken skin.
Crunchy curried chicken skin.
Bloody addictive whatever you call it.
I'm not a fan of fries at all and truffle fries hardly impress me, but when I actually Burpple about truffle fries, it really says something. The thickness of the fries was just right, not as fat as wedges, also not as stick thin such that it becomes too crisp. Softness was just about right too. Best part is that the truffle smelle wafts from a distance and also doesn't taste too greasy! Only at $9+ guys, mai tu liao. The mains are not bad but I find their sides more interesting and delicious! So make sure to save stomach space!
The bbq chicken(10.90++) was done almost perfectly - tender, crispy (albeit a little burnt at the edges) - with a delicious indonesian style bbq sauce. The coleslaw was refreshing (this is coming from an avid hater of coleslaws) and the lemak curry-like sauce goes well with the rice. All in all a good lunch, will revisit!
Amazing molten lava chocolate cake with an oozy chocolate filling infused with bourbon and orange. The ice cream isn't plain old vanilla, it's infused with their own brewed beer.
Wow, really nice. The gravy tasted more like a thick tom yum soup though, not the chilli crab type of gravy. The ravioli were well stuffed with crab meat. Overall a very spicy dish and incredibly tasty. A must try.
Only brunch menu was available at 11am on a Saturday .. and this is the 1925 Breakfast (~$20)
It looked better than it tasted--
