The food is ok, nothing bad, just to much time difference in between the dishes. Difficult to share.
But the worst of all: the service…. It took more than 60 min. to get one bottle of wine on the table. We even had already one over salted dish on the table🤦🏼♀️. And no excuse.
generally a hit and miss with bit steep pricing 🤔 recommend to go for tapas and desserts! really like the boneless chicken, spanish omelette and brie cheesecake for sure😍
Good points first - I liked that it was mild and very creamy - texture was good, yet not too jelat. However, the base was so thin and feeble. The menu stated "wholemeal crust", but the crust was barely there. I would have appreciated a thicker crunchy crust, so that we get textural variation - creamy soft cheesecake with crunchy buttery crust.
Josper grilled secreto cut of Iberico! They were sliced to a good thickness (it's thin, but still has a bite), and was rather meaty and juicy. Though not the most tender, it was still enjoyable, and the chimichurri gave some additional flavour + crunch. Certain pieces had a thin layer of crispness at the sides, which I liked.
Having been to Spain earlier this year, I've had a fair share of spanish tortillas and this one measured up, I liked it! Upon slicing into the Spanish omelette, the juices all flowed out. Pretty flavourful with a creamy eggy centre and chunks of tender confit potatoes, alongside chorizo that wasn't too salty. Best eaten hot!
These baby squid were breaded with semolina, giving a light delicate crisp (not a hard crunch), which we enjoyed. The squid also wasn't overcooked, no toughness/rubberiness here. Was a nice snack to munch on.
