[CLOSED] Spicy House Restaurant

My must order item for all hotspot is the beef tongue. I always get mix reactions whenever I suggest this but it’s so worth it. The texture is crunchier than the normal meat such as pork belly or pork collar. Also, it’s usually cut up in smaller pieces so it’s easier to chew.

Also, I feel like price range is value for money and one good point over HDL is there’s no long queue. Who doesn’t like a short queue? 😋

While the mala was a bit too spicy for one of us, it was perfect for the spicy-loving other. Gloves are given to "battle" the messy crawfish-eating but that was part of the joy of pigging out on these lobsters

a Chengdu style hotpot chain which started in Shanghai in 2009 and has about 30 outlets in China 🇨🇳.
First outlet in Singapore.
So much dishes for hotpot tonite that one doesn't know where to start.
The Bamboo Shoot (S$12), which flown in a couple of days ago from China 🇨🇳, was sliced into thin sheets and tasted very tender and smooth. A must order item.
