Smöoy (Rivervale Mall)

Gone were the days when Frozen Yoghurts were the trend. I remember how it made a name for itself around Singapore, with teenagers going for froyo after school and not bubble tea.
For ‘mini’ I thought this cup was pretty big, but I’m not complaining since at that price point, it should be that way. I chose nata de coco as my topping, and it’s quantity was pretty decent! It complemented well with original flavour, which was sweet and sour both at the same time, yet, nothing wonderful. It tasted very much like a cup of frozen yoghurt you’d expect. However, for $4.50 and #burpplebeyond, it was worth it.

I have to admit that I’ve been stuck with my love for Yami Yoghurt. I enjoyed both the flavours and texture that store had to offer, so juxtaposing smooy against Yami.. would not be a fair fight. Gotta say this made me miss Yami Yoghurt and it’s presence in shopping Malls way too much!

If you need some small sweet thing from Our Tampines Hub, Smooy has a small kiosk outside that perfect for your to grab and go.

There’s lot of seats around here where you can sit down and chill.

If anyone said that Smooy was another option to/ tasted like Llao Llao, I would call that fallacious. But $2~ for frozen yoghurt I’ll take, with Burpplebeyond. 😶😛

Keep this frozen yogurt kiosk in mind for sweltering days. Cool down with their fragrant Smooy Classic Melon Froyo ($5.50) that's best paired with biscuit sauce, or simply enjoy the Smooy Classic in Natural ($5.50) that's excellent when topped with decadent Dark Chocolate Muesli chunks.

Melon flavor was nice and fragrance! Goes well with biscuit sauce. Ordered matcha sauce with the original, totally regretted. The matcha sauce doesn’t taste good, and is totally weird.
