Buttery enough so it wasn't dry and topped with a scoop of chocolate hazelnut ice cream &&& vanilla 🍦! One of the nicest shibuya toasts I've tried in sg!! #dqky #burpple

Ain't that picky about my food.

But these just cannot make it.
1. The macarons were soft. (Probably not well kept)
2. Taste-wise, it's different. (Probably personal preference that I don't like it)

These are one of the minority of macarons that I can say that I'll never wanna try them again. 🐏🐏🐏

Not nice at all.

Not any ordinary waffle, this one comes with a crusty, crunchy exterior coated in cinnamon sugar – it's exactly what one would expect from its name.

One of my favourite place for thick toast and it is still really good! Just a bit disappointed on the scoop of icecream which was sooo small as compared to the previous time when I visited. Love the quiet ambience while I eat and gossip

My impression of red velvet cake is dry texture, hard, too much cream and taste sour. This place proof me wrong. Really good cake~ 😋

The plating's also super pretty with such lovely chocolatey flavours to boot 😋!

On a side note, tmr's my statistics paper and I hope I don't flunk hahahaha 😅... //faints

We had a hard time picking the flavours cos there were so many we wanted to try. My favourite is still the Salted Egg Yolk flavour from Shiberty Bakes. 😋
Sweet dreams!

Faring better than their toast, Shiberty Bake’s Buttermilk Gourmet Waffles served with assorted berries, maple honey and ice cream; was nicely crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and had a strong buttermilk aroma.

Faring better than their toast, Shiberty Bake’s Buttermilk Gourmet Waffles ($15) was nicely crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and had a strong buttermilk aroma. However, the more than half hour wait for my drink was utterly disappointing. The 1-hour wait for my toast also proved to be a letdown as the textures were inconsistent and the sweet toppings tasted mediocre. With my hopes dashed, the waffles served with assorted berries, maple honey, sea salt caramel and vanilla ice cream were a saving grace as well as the polite service offered at the counter.

Shiberty Bakes is a dessert cafe opened by a blogger, tucked in a nice HDB Estate. I went there with high expectations after seeing all the pictures floating around Instagram. It certainly looked really good.

We ordered the Matcha Shiberty Toast ($16) cos I'm a huge fan of matcha, but for non-Matcha lovers fret not, there are other flavors to choose from. They do serve other items like waffles, macarons and cakes too. The toast came with 2 scoops of ice cream & random cookie bits and Kit Kat. Firstly, PRICE. I couldn't grasp the idea of paying $16 for bread. Fine, toasted fluffy bread. Secondly, it was just bread nicely decorated with a bunch of random stuff that didn't exactly pair with the toast. Thirdly, I was quite disappointed. I'm not sure if my expectations were too high due to the hype. But how nice can toast taste right? But to give it credit, it was buttery and light. However, slightly dry.

Overall, I was disappointed. Sometimes, looks are deceiving. I believe that she has nice desserts to offer (judging from all the other positive reviews) & perhaps I just went on a bad day. probably come back another time to try the other stuff she offers, perhaps I went on a bad day.

Got salted egg & blueberry macaroon, matcha with black sesame cream & Churros waffle!! Macaroon was fantastic, I left the store with another 9! Cake texture was moist and smooth, better than many other stalls that sell pretty but not very edible cake. Downside: turn dry after being exposed to air (I guess it's normal?) the cream was black sesame, I like it but my friend didn't.. (Just imagine Chinese black sesame paste on your cake) quite thrilling to the tastebud! & Churros waffle!! TBH, I was pretty impressed by it.. it's was lightly sugar coated and crispy even after we took multiple shots of it. Down side of the waffle: was really flat on the inside, ice cream & small tidbits was not fantastic, feels a little "Lao Hong" and cheapo. Macaroon - $2 each , cake - $7, waffles - $15!

Finally able to drop by this place! I am a huge fan of anything hazelnut, and obviously went with the Rocher Shibuya Toast ($16) without any hesitation.
The presentation of this was so pretty, I didn't want to eat it, but the ice cream was melting so I digged in. The Shibuya Toast was crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and it was generously slabbed with butter. It was a little dry though, and I would've preferred it to be more moist. The condiments surrounding the toast on the plate, like the chocolate sticks, kit kat, and chocolate hazelnut sauce drizzled around, emphasised the hazelnut/Rocher flavour more. Loved it!! 😍

Probably one of the nicest toast that we had! Served with vanilla and hazelnut ice cream that goes perfectly well with the crispy, warm and buttery toast. Assorted chocolates and chocolate fudge sauce to complement, as well as to make it more aesthetically pleasing!

Super big dessert. Value for $$ and a nice place to chill

Everyday should start off with some sunshine and berries. And nice crisp waffles…

Shiberty Toasts from @shibertybakes tastes like buttery sunshine on a plate, topped with generous scoops of creamy matcha and vanilla bean ice cream! I mean, seriously, I've never seen larger scoops of ice cream on a dessert.

I visited @shibertybakes with high hope after reading the raving reviews online.

TBH, I was disappointed. Perhaps I caught them on their bad day.

The toast was mediocre and inconsistent. One side lack of crisp and the another lack the buttery taste. Ice cream is...Ordinary. If you buy your ice cream from an external vendor, source for better ones if you can! If its home-made, 加油 and continue to work on it! 😊 It's okay not to have so much supermarket tidbits over the toast, even if it looks more aesthetic for Instagram. At least a few good one (how abt a Ferrero Rocher for cheeze's sake). Overall, good for the eyes but doesn't go well with my taste bud that day.

Had Matcha Toast for the first time in my life!!! And omg it didn't actually disappoint me! It was soooo sweet (which is good cause i have very bad sweet tooth) & it was legit more than enough for 2 person 😅 It was so quiet & there was only 2 customers in that shop when we went which was a really really REALLY good thing! would love to go back & try their Rocher Toast !!!!
