.
This has a generous portion of soft spaghetti pasta noodles (you can opt for al-dente).
.
Plated with tender earthy shimeji mushrooms, crunchy grainy haricot beans, and a roasted marinated boneless chicken thigh that is tender, juicy, and savoury salty sweet in flavour.
.
The dish is completed with a bright Indonesian sambal chili, which has sharp tangy sour spicy flavour, and a short lingering burn.
.
Bold flavours, somewhat oily, but completely delicious and addictive.

Brazen Beef ($32.90++)
You can just cut through this premium striploin with a knife like butter (they didn’t serve steak knives here btw). I chose their Truffle Jus as a sauce, and the result? Juicy, tender and absolutely full of flavour, especially the Truffle Jus which did not overpower the beef at all. I’m definitely coming back for this.

Definitely a must to try for after a great meal here. Yummy gula Melaka in between the pandan cake and the coconut shavings is a great complement to the cake. Overall it’s a great cake to have. Yummy yummy yum yum

For a halal restaurant this is definitely a great dish to have. Duck meat is sweet and tasty plus very tender. Overall it’s an excellent meal. Value for money.

[Halal] This was taken back in November last year when I had my first experience at Royz et Vous' new outlet, located at Chai Chee.

I read on Quora about someone saying mangoes are "the best tasting candy that can grow on a tree", to which I couldn't agree more. That's also why it was an interesting addition to the traditional creme brulee. To be more specific, I adore how the custard embodied the taste of mango well. I feel that it l was a rather refreshing and welcoming contrast to the familiar vanila, milky taste. In addition, the fruits were plump, juicy and fresh, which I thought served to enhance this dessert.

The only letdown about this was how predictable it was. This only takes one look for you to know that it'd be good, if not decent. It lacked the any evocative quality or element of surprise, which made it quite boring to be honest. I've forgotten how much I paid for this, but if it was anything past $5, then to you I say that there is no compelling reason to get this in a heartbeat. (6.5/10)

Easties looking for a Halal-friendly date spot will love Royz et Vous in Chai Chee (around the corner from sporting store Decathlon). The spacious cafe oozes industrial hip vibes with its cement floor, wood-paneled walls and high ceilings, making this suitable for a casual-chic date. The food is strong on flavour and spice. Try the Signature Prawn and Crayfish ($19.90), a pasta dish generously topped with seafood and peppered with chilli padi that cuts through the cream sauce, as well as the Buffalo Wings ($14.90) slicked in chilli padi buffalo sauce. There are non-spicy options like the Wagyu Beef Burger ($28.90), which was well executed and worth the price tag if you're into beef. The Muslim-owned establishment serves dealcoholised Halal wine (from $8.90/glass of red or white), which is great if you're celebrating an occasion, but otherwise a needless splurge (it tastes like watered down grape juice). We recommend going for the potent Thai Milk Tea ($6) or Cold Brew Nitro Black ($9) coffee instead. Pro tip: Make a reservation in advance.
Avg Price: $40 per couple
