Yummy Halal Food
This restaurant serves very authentic nasi Padang and has been around for the longest time. Every dish ordered is covered with different type of spicy gravy to suit the dish. Really a walk for me down memory lane as I was look forward to a treat by my father when this restaurant was situated at the present Rendezvous Hotel. Really yummy still.
Love the Nasi lemak here cos it uses basmati rice. It’s a long grain rice that’s not sticky. I love choosing my own ingredients as the stall has very well fried crispy ikan bilis and good sized ikan kuning. The chilli is not overly sweet but spicy. The banana fritter is my dessert and it’s usually sold out fast.
One of the better dum briyani. Rice is soft and moist. The fish was well cooked and gravy is just right for fish. There’re salad and poppadom. Overall a good dish.
Definitely a good briyani with well cooked basmati rice and mutton so tender that the meat just comes off the bone. Curry is just right - not too spicy. There’s accompanying gravy and achar. Worth every cents of $6. Yummy
This noodle from China surprised me as every item is good. You can choose the thickness of noodles and the beef is very tender. The chilli sauce is, according to the shop, imported from China and it’s very good to mix with the dry noodles. Add in a pinch of vinegar and the noodle is yummy.
Well fried rice with wok hei from a Muslim stall no less. Am very impressed with the skill executed by the chef. The ikan billis are crispy as expected. Overall very yummy.
I’ve tried the nasi goreng ikan billis and nasi ayam goreng separately but this really takes the cake. The wok hei of this stall is undeniably good. I’d seen the chef fried rice before and he’s just as good if not even better than a lot Chinese chefs. The ayam goreng is of course their signature dish. So the combination is great.
This Indonesian Restuarant from KL serves very tasty food. Has this beef rendang meal which is full of different dishes including their jungle fern green curry which can’t be found in most of the Indonesian restaurants here. The fern is very crunchy and with the green curry it’s really yummy. The beef rendang was really yummy cos it’s quite tender and full of flavour. I must come back here to try the rest of the dishes.
The stall doesn’t sell this if the banana is not good. So even you see the banana hanging yet the owner will not see cos it’s not good enough. $2 for three bananas is really a good deal. Yummy too!
Love the ikan billis and kuning fish here. Always crispy and very tasty. The stall uses very nice long grain rice which does not clumped up like a bunch. Sambal chilli is sweet and spicy. Just right for nasi lemak. Sedap!!!
Definitely a must to try for after a great meal here. Yummy gula Melaka in between the pandan cake and the coconut shavings is a great complement to the cake. Overall it’s a great cake to have. Yummy yummy yum yum
For a halal restaurant this is definitely a great dish to have. Duck meat is sweet and tasty plus very tender. Overall it’s an excellent meal. Value for money.
