Meat Lovers' Delight
This is the star of Fook Kin and it’s true. The roast pork is just average. This is well grilled and the meat is tender as well as firm to bite. However to raise the level higher dip it in the char siew sauce provided in a small container. Then it elevated to a higher delectable level as in old days when char siew has sauce like this coated over it. Supper yummy! Eat the char siew with the mee pok or mee kia - that should complete the meal.
Very tender and meat fell off the the bone. Tasty meat and enough for two small eaters. Worth every $.
Well fried rice with wok hei from a Muslim stall no less. Am very impressed with the skill executed by the chef. The ikan billis are crispy as expected. Overall very yummy.
This is an unique dish in a Japanese Omakase but it’s one of Yuzu’s Chef Taka’s starred dishes. Not only is it tasty and flavourful the meat is so tender that it literally melts in your mouth. Super yummy.
Good old fashioned steak Singapore styled. The Ship is one of the oldest if not the oldest steakhouse in Singapore. Steak is tasty and tender. And to keep the steak not over cooked on the hot plate onions and carrots were placed beneath it so the steak is kept medium rare till the last piece. Belly yummy.
This rack of lamb is both tender and tasty. There’s no need for me to add pepper or salt which is what I usually do when the lamb is not tasty. It was cooked perfectly medium rare. Worth the drive up Mt Faber. Yummy
A special for the day and it’s outstandingly yummy. Slightly charred on the outside yet tender inside. When eating the edges it was almost like eating char siew. The sides are great complements to the pork chop. At the end I can hold the bone end and have a great time gnawing the meat off. Really 😋 😋 😋
Definitely the best roast meat stall around Havelock/Beo Crescent area. Super crispy crunchy skin on the roast. If you haven’t try char siew ribs then this is the stall to eat it. Well roasted ribs that are meaty and tasty as good as the char siew the stall sells. Pig skin is not easily available in other roast meat stall. This stall not only has it but the skin is very done - tasty and tenderly soft. Overall it’s a very yummy dish.
Look is deceiving. Looks charred but really tender and moist inside. The crispy outside is really a good complement to the tender meat inside. Enough for 4/6 people. Worth the money. Yummy yum yum yum!
It's been a while I had a good suckling pig and this is excellent. Very crispy skin with very little fat. Each of us is given the sweet sauce so we didn't need to share which was a great idea.
Great lamb rack. Soft and tender inside and slightly burnt yet tasty outside. My best lamb rack for the time being. Enough to feed two as recommended by the waiter. Glad that this restaurant actually recommends sharing as the portions are quite big. Yummy 👍👍👍
Surprisingly good for cafe styled food. Not cheap though. Meat is well cooked to medium and seasoning is just right. Asked for another sauce as the provide onion sauce is not my liking. Chef came up with a tasty sauce that matches the meat well. My dislike is water is charged at $5 per bottle of still water.
