The taukwa was fresh and soft, meat filling was tasty - itโs my fav out of all the ingredients. Taukee was slightly crisp but a little too salty. Spinach was blanched such that it wasnโt soggy. Meatball was quite large and heavily seasoned. Taupok was juicy and went well with the bouncy fish paste. Horfun was soft and slurpy. Soup was quite salty for me. Overall felt that each component was decent, but itโs a bit too salty for me. Might be an off day, but have also heard that standards have dropped - a lil sad I didnโt try this earlier. Currently itโs not smth Iโll crave, but Iโll make a return trip to see if itโs nicer next time.

This famous stall is known for the freshness of their "yong tau fu" and wonderfully sweet soup. If you like soya beans like me, you can ask for more to be added and they won't hesitate to scoop a heaping spoon of it into your bowl of soup or noodles. A generous pile of crispy "ikan bilis" is always added on top of each order too, but only if you want it (they always check first). Which brings me to the icing on the cake about this stall. It is their genuinely warm and friendly service that makes them a true winner in my eyes and it's probably why you always see so many smiling customers here.
Nice and cheap yong tau fu for lunch ($6)
