[CLOSED] Pool Grill (Marriott Singapore)

Quiet on a Sunday afternoon, patient and attentive staff. Had the lobster linguine (~$42), very creamy sauce complimented the large chunks of lobster well. Had the mushroom soup (~$15) which was rather mediocre, nothing much to shout about. Would suggest trying other soups instead!

Better to go for dinner, unless you don’t mind a lunch clientèle of almost exclusively tai-tai’s babbling away, or the sight of half-naked western expats or obese Asians bronzing by the pool. For who would be willing to fork out $70 to $150 for a non-gourmet lunch in an open air room, but people with lots of dough and leisure time? Otherwise, the food is very good (the signature lamb loin is delicious), and service is excellent by a small team of friendly and efficient wait staff.

Besides Fat Belly, this place here serves the classic steak well. Steak was cooked well and flavourful on its own - they also had a variety of sauces to choose from, each of them delightful in their own ways. The red wine jus went very well with the steak. 5/5 for this place - great if you have the Entertainer app!

Wow this dish is beyond words. They retained the fatty parts of the fish while keeping the outer part with that slight crisp. There is this mashed creamy thing (I have no idea what) but it complements with the cod fish. Loved the tempura broccoli as well. Make sure to use it with the entertainer 1 for 1!

The salmon is very fresh! Sit back and chill, having good food by the poolside! 👍
