๐Punggol Nasi Lemak Center
Even though I stay relatively near Punggol Nasi Lemak Centre, I can count with one hand how many times I have visited here. A total of less than 5 times ๐คฃ๐ the reason being the nasi lemak is slightly pricey as compared to the hawker kind of nasi lemak. And also because put off by the long queue everytime
Visited on a Friday evening before 7pm the queue had already started but still a relatively short waiting time.
The best thing here is the nasi lemak rice and the sambal chilli. These two itself were so good you could just eat it on its own! ๐you know how for nasi lemak the make or break deciding factor is the rice and chilli, so this scored points for it!
As for the fried chicken wing, being gluttons we ordered 3 to share between the 2 of us. While the batter was crunchy crispy and well marinated, I can't say the same for the chicken meat itself. I thought it was too bland? Comparing it with oldchangkee or qiji chicken wing, I think I would have preferred the other two as their chicken wing meats got more ๅณ้.
Dropped by for dinner after working out because my friend swears by it ๐ Claims its one of her fav supper spots!
The queue was really long but also fast. Fuss-free kinda experience. The rice was very fragrant and I liked that the rice grains were nicely separated (not sure if this is the best way to describe ๐). The chicken wing is a must-try!
A place to satisfy your late night cravings for nasi lemak. Good old Chinese nasi lemak featuring toppings such as luncheon meat and ngoh hiang. Itโs not the cheapest nasi lemak around as prices can go above $10. But the rice is fragrant and every dish is freshly cooked in store. The must order item here are the chicken wings and no meal here would be complete without it.
Best nasi lemak. Fried chicken wings are fried to perfection and rice is very fragrant! Chili is shiok!!!
Located at 238 Tanjong Katong Rd, Singapore 437026. Opens 5.30pm to 1am, closes on Thursday. .

Nasi Lemak, $8.30. Finally here to try, always seen a Long q for this stall when we drove past. Indeed, very fragrant and delicious!! Rice is very fragrant with coconut, and texture was good! Dishes were hot and freshly fried so itโs so crispy and piping hot! We ordered Chicken Wing, Fish Fillet, Otah and Meat Roll (Ngor Hiong). Everything on this plate is superb๐๐ผ๐๐ผ They even have a price list at the side so itโs very transparent. We personally find this nicer and tastier than the other outlet at Upper Serangoon Rd! .

This place here serves Chinese style nasi lemak. You will definitely be spoilt for choices with the amount of dishes you can choose from. Crispy fried chicken wings, stir fried sambal brinjal, savoury otah were the dishes I chose. If only the rice were as fluffy and coconutty as the ones we find in a Malay store, then it would be the perfect combination.
