Nacho chips with black beans, cheddar cheese, salsa and guacamole from the Mexican stall, and salad from the salad stall. Hazelnut coffee from the coffee stall 💛

I love speculoos and so I was immediately attracted to this milk because the description promised “speculoos cookie butter, lotus biscuits, peanut drizzle.” While the drink was nice and sweet, it tasted mainly of peanut butter and I didn’t taste the speculoos or lotus biscuit.

P.s. I think I paid $2.90 but it may have been $3.90. I’ve already forgotten but I remember it wasn’t too expensive (this is for a ‘tall’ drink, there’s also a larger ‘huge’ version)

A good and well balanced meal!!! The olive rice was so flavorful that it didn’t need any dressing 😋 Corn and black beans really made this dish stand out!❤️ The shredded cabbage, not so much.

Walked past and was like...wot?!? Why do they have a basket of fried chicken legs?!? So I got one along with the laksa yong tau fu. Chicken was so dry and tough I felt I was chewing on rocks 😣 Thought the laksa would disappoint since the gravy appeared rather thin and white, but it was quite on point! Coconut milk added was the right amount and managed to maintain a good balance with the laksa spices. Quite a find for an ordinary canteen like this!

Salads, pastas, nasi padang and curry rice, platypus @ FoS doesn't lose out in terms of variety. Depending on the theme of each counter, you get to select every single ingredient to be placed in your bowl e.g. you get to choose from 3 different curries from the curry rice counter and 3 different rice from the nasi padang counter.

My order comprised of tikka masala chickpea curry ($3.90), shabu beef slices ($2.30), an egg (60 cents) and some vegetables. I was unimpressed with the curry which wasn't very fragrant and sufficiently spiced, and the rice for being in bits and having a mushy consistency.

Definitely pricey if you were to compare with the food being offered at The Frontier, but this will be the alternative if you're seeking something different in FoS!

Topup S$1 for a lemonade.
Could barely taste the cheese in it, let alone the expected felt of stretching cheese.
The place was like a mini canteen with about 5 stalls. There's also other stalls such as Nasi Club, Gohan Gohan, Serious Salad, and Thirsty Guys.
